Bauchi State government has delared a total shutdown of the state starting from Thursday, April 2 by 6PM, in an effort to curb the spread of the pandemic Corona virus.
 Mohammed Sabiu Baba, said that the state Governor, Bala Mohammed, gave the directives from his Isolation center.
The statement further said that during the shutdown season, all residents are allowed to necessity items on Wednesdays till Saturdays between the hours of 10 AM and 4PM.
The Governor, through the statement, said he thank the residents for the sacrifice and  the sacrifice the state will be making during the time and assured that government will do their possible best to curb the expansion of the pandemic virus.
He, however, said that all interstate boundary will be shut for the period of 14 days.
The statement, however, said that the shutdown does not affect essential services like medical services and supplies, transportation of perishable food items and it’s like.
