The kwara state Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has been urged by a political platform called the political changers to stay back in the state to be able to attend to many pressing issues than frequent travelling. In a statement released today by the grand chairman Comr Toyin Issa, he said that the frequent travelling by the Governor calls for serious concern.

He said since May 29 last year when the Governor was sworn in,  the Governor has never spent a month without traveling out of the state or out the country on Kwara state costs, this is not good enough for a government that really means business.

Furthermore, a state like kwara can't be with Lagos that can boast of #45b monthly IGR, if Lagos state Governor traveled on a daily basis, the resource is there but unlike kwara that has little resources we can not continue to be wasting #100m that is meant for every trips the Governor embarks on. On top of all these, the governor now travels on hired private Jets in and out of Ilorin. This is contrary to what was promised and advertised to gaulible voters early in the governor's regime....

A state that is yet to conclude on the implementation of new minimum wage shouldn't just be travelling and be wasting our money on private trips, what you promise is ISEYA and not traveling on a weekly basis, we once again urged the Governor to stay back home and attend to pressing domestic issues and not continuous movement from one country to another on Kwara state funds....
