Kingsley Moghalu responded to the cried for a relief of nationwide shutdown

Kingsley Moghalu, the former presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP has responded to the cried out for a relief of nationwide shutdown in spite of an increase in cases of Corona virus.

Buhari extended shutdown on the 13th of April in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun state states with extra two weeks in order to curtail the extension of corona virus.

The expiration date approaches, President Muhammadu Buhari has been receiving calls to relief the shutdown in order to stop economic insecurity and chaos in some states.

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC cautioned that there would be communal disrupt and economy failure if the shutdown is increases.

Also Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church not left behind  He told President Muhammadu Buhari to stop the shutdown and imbibe the uses of mask

Ayodele cautioned that the shutdown will not assist the economy

On the other hand, Moghalu respond to the shout, said it is high risk for Nigeria, if the ban is lifted in those states with the increasement of the cases of Corona virus.

On his verified Twitter account, he admit that the fight between staying at home and “Re-opening” is a difficult but ultimately false choice.

His twitter read thus: “COVID-19: The conflict between staying at home and “Re-opening” is a difficult but ultimately false choice. Re-opening now is a big risk.

“As I said to my son, if we were in a conventional war and bombs were dropping, would you pretend all is normal? Or is it because this is a virus?
