The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State has described the death of Alhaji Sulyman Olanrewaju Bala, as a great and painful loss. 

The late Bala, who died in the early hours of today, at his Olokuta compound in Eruda, Baboko Ward, Ilorin, was a former PDP Chairman in Ilorin West Local Government Area between 2012 and 2018.

According to a statement the party's State Publicity Secretary, Tunde Ashaolu, the deceased was a simple and easy going man who was very dedicated, patriotic, committed and loyal to the party and its ideals. 

"His wealth of experience and contributions to the development of our party and the state in general will be greatly missed. We prayed to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him aljanah and give his family members the strength to bear the loss," Ashaolu said.

Similarly, the Kwara PDP has commiserated with Mrs Bukola Abel, an ex-Senior Legislative Assistant to former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, over the demise of her dear husband, Mr Olatunji Abel.

The party prayed to God Almighty to forgive the soul of the departed and comfort his immediate family and loved ones.
