Raymond Dokpesi Junior, the Chairman of DAAR Communications Plc, owners of AIT and Ray power, has tested positive for corona virus.
He revealed this to staff members of the company in Abuja in a text message on Monday.
AIT said Dokpesi had been on self-isolation for a week.
The message was shared on their website: “I got a call this morning confirming the result is COVID-19 positive. I am leaving now to the Gwagwalada isolation center for treatment and hope to be back in two weeks.
“Many of you may have interacted with me during our various meetings and I would advise you to get tested as soon as possible.”

At first, Dokpesi fell sick with malaria symptoms.
Later, he started coughing and then get in touch with the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
The test came out positive.
The DAAR boss has been convey to the Isolation Center at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada for treatment.
The NCDC Contact Tracing group will test persons who may have contacted with Dokpesi in the past two weeks.
All the family members, friends, colleague and staff members of DAAR Communications are not excluded.
