WHO confirms four fresh cases of Ebola in DRC - The Nation Nigeria
World Health Organisation confirmed Four new cases of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Office for Africa authenticate the circumstances on its verified official twitter page @WHOAFRO on Wednesday.
It utter, “Four new cases of Ebola have been reported in the past 10 days in Beni, DRC – the epicenter of the outbreak.
“WHO continues to support the Ministry of Health in surveillance efforts, investigating almost 2,000 alerts each day despite continued insecurity,’’ it said.
Remembered that the WHO had on April 10 affirmed a fresh case of Ebola virus in the city of Beni in DRC.
The fresh case was authenticated after 52 days without any history of fresh infection in the country.
