FG Declares Two Days Public Holidays For Eid-el-Kabir Celebrations

The Federal Government has announced Monday and Tuesday a general holiday in Nigeria to celebrate the Eid-al Fitr.

On Thursday Rauf Aregbesola, the Minister of Interior delared this in a statement by Mohammed Manga, the Director of Press in the Ministry. 

Aregbesola congratulate all Muslim faithful for the success of this year Ramadan fast.

The Minister appealed the Muslim faithful to showcase the life of kindness, love, tolerance, peace and good neighbourliness, as show by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).

The Minister also regret the overflow of ethnic crises that have newly surface in some parts of Northern Nigeria in present times.

Aregbesola urged Nigerians to see one another as a single individual and learn to allow one another in spite of ethnic and religious differences.

The Minister additionally appealed Muslims to cleave to the COVID-19 rules and health regulations as they felicitate.
