The Kwara state Ministry of Works and Transport being the supervising ministry is coordinating the state government's massive road construction under its urban renewal project across the state with the ongoing constructions and rehabilitation at different stages of completion ahead of the fall season.

The road linking Tipper garage - Amuyo - Adesoye College in Offa which has been in a deplorable state is an important route for road users and business owners within Offa metropolis, hindering the movement of goods and services and hampering economic growth and development.

It is against this backdrop that the AbdulRazaq led government through the Ministry of Works and Transport embarked on the construction of the three linkage roads to ameliorate the difficulties faced by residents and business owners plying the economically viable route.

The construction work is nearing completion as the contractors begin asphalt laying on the three linkage routes that is expected to reduce the gridlock usually experienced in the city centre and boost economic growth and development of the town.

It is important to note that the materials used for construction were sourced locally with local artisans actively involved in the construction work in line with Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's commitment to promoting local content development and reducing the rate of unemployment in the state.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq continues to drive an all encompassing, inclusive government, leaving out no part of Kwara in his urban renewal initiative project.
