The Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) revealed that 40,746 authentic cases of pandemic Corona virus also known as (COVID-19) has been recorded in 53 countries across Africa.

Sunday morning, The health agency disclosed this on its official Twitter page.

Statement on the tweeter said, COVID-19 has killed 1,754 people in Africa, while a total of 14,152 patients has been discharged from the pandemic virus across the region.

Nigeria is now the highest country in West Africa, with 2,388 authentic cases and 85 confirmed deaths while Ghana followed with 2,169 cases and 18 deaths.

The Africa CDC COVID-19 graphic user interface displayed that South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Cameroon were leading countries with the highest reported Corona virus cases before.
