Thirty five years old man, an Abuja based, Onyebuchi Ezema will on June 16 be will officially charge before a Federal Capital Territory High Court for reportedly raping his biological 4-year-old daughter.

The culprit was disclosed to have forcefully sex his daughter at his residence in Lugbe, a suburb of the Abuja metropolis.

The arraignment was scheduled for Monday, but, was rescheduled because no one could interpret for him

The Lawyers responded to the court when he declared that he can speaks Igbo language only while all measures to get a neutral interpreter were abortive.

Justice Angella Otaluka who was face with the challenge of getting an interpreter was compel by the challenge to change the arraignment date till June 16.

The Judge directed the Registrar of the court to get unbiased interpreter before the adjourned date.

In the one count charge, the lawyer, Onyebuchi Ezema is charged of raping his four-year-old daughter between the 15th and 16th of April 2020 at Lugbe within the jurisdiction of the FCT high court.

The alleged blame is punishable under section one subsection one of the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act of 2015.

Counsel to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons NAPTIP, Mr Cornelius Dabeet declined speaking with Judiciary reporters on the matter adding that he has not been authorized to speak to the press.
