The rescue team of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC have so far regained a body over heated beyond recognition at the fire incident occured on Sunday's explosion complicated with four vehicles along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

NAN reports that Mr. Olusegun Ogungbemide, FRSC Lagos State Sector Commander while giving an update about the occurrence to newsmen disclosed that two unlucky persons have been taken to the nearby hospital.

His statement quoted: “We have been able to take two casualties to the General Hospital, Gbagadaa. Also, one person was burnt beyond recognition.

“The accident involved three tankers and one truck of which two of the tankers were carrying petrol, another carrying gas, and the other an articulated truck.”

Ogungbemide said further that they are still seaching to determine the reasons of the fire explosion was still going on, he also added that noting disclosed that one of the tankers could not bewield and collided to others which caused the fire outbreak.

 He said further, “It was a loss of control. One of the tankers that rammed into other vehicles either had brake failure or got distracted.

”An investigation is still on, we can’t just be accurate now."
