Delta State Governor, Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, has lost one of his cabinet, Hon. Joyce Overah to the cold hands of death.

The deceased was the member representing the people of Okpe and Sapele in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Developments Commission’s Board, DESOPADEC.

The commissioner gave up yesterday, afternoon, June 9, in Sapele. He represented Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the DESOPADEC board.

Ngrealnews gathered that Overah collapsed moments before his swearing-in as member of the current board of DESOPADEC by Governor Okowa and was moved away from the event via an ambulance.

His death was confirmed by the Sapele Local Government Chairman, Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, as the former member of the House of Representatives today.

Hon. Eugene Inoaghan said the death of the former lawmaker who represented Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie Federal Constituency, is extremely bad to him.

Hon. Eugene said that, Hon. Joyce Overah vacuum will be seriously missed by the People’s Democratic Party members in the State.

The commissioner gave up in his late 50s and was Left six children and an aged father behind.
