Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has been assigned as the chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC)’s caretaker National Working Committee.

Ngrealnews had reported that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was terminated on Thursday.

The action was taken at Party’s NEC Meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari and other top APC stakeholders was there.

Meanwhile, Buhari's personal assistant on media also tweeted that, “Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.”

“The decision has just been taken at the ongoing party’s NEC meeting.”

“Governor of Yobe State, H.E Mai Mala Buni has just been appointed as the chairman, caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
