The Nigerian military has reacted to the new order by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Few week ago, presidency ordered  service chief to advance the tide of insecurity in the country.

The Defence Headquarters disclosed that it would cooperate with other security operatives to face security challenges on Thursday

Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, revealed this at a news conference in Abuja.

He said the Armed Forces of Nigeria in plan with other security operatives will crush “all forms of criminality across the country in accordance with the directives of the Commander-in-Chief."

Enenche ensured that soldiers deployed for operations across Nigeria remain obliged and firm in achieving the operational mandate.

He said, “The Military High Command empathizes with all those who have been affected by the activities of terrorists, armed bandits and other criminals in one way or another."

The military appreciate Nigerians for their patience and understanding in giving prompt and accurate information on illegality.

Enenche foster the public not to stop in giving the military and other security operatives with correct information on the activities of terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and the likes.
