The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 829 COVID-19 patients were released and unites to their family on Monday.

The NCDC said this through its verified Twitter page that the number was the highest in one day right from the index case was announced on Feb. 27.

The NCDC also disclosed that 648 fresh corona virus were confirmed in 21 States across the nation, which make the total number of pandemic cases in the country to hit 41,180.

The health agency said that two deaths were recorded in the country, while 18,203 patients have been successfully treated and discharged.

41,180 cases have been confirmed according to their NCDC, 18,203 cases discharged and unites with their family while 860 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
