The World Bank has commend the economic direction of the Buhari administration says presidency.

Vice President spokesperson, Laolu Akande, in a statement on Tuesday, disclose this commendation followed the efforts of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).

Laolu Akande said that the World Bank also rate Nigeria higher in its annual Ease of Doing Business Rankings.

Akande quoted Osinbajo as saying government’s reforms, via the PEBEC, had gives an opportunity in a meaningful ways to lift local and foreign investments.

Osinbajo spoke at a virtual meeting of the PEBEC to evaluates the state of the amendment across a number of government agencies.

“This is a country that has so much resources and our administration has every opportunity to do something profound about investments in Nigeria. We must focus on how to get our business environment working”, the VP said.

Niyi Adebayo, who is the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, shows tendency that the challenges noticed in maintaining the progress recorded in the amendment will be tackled.

Mohammed Bello, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), also asked for maintenance of the PEBEC reforms.

Jumoke Oduwole, the Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, noted that the Enabling Business Environment Secretariat (EBES) will continue to drive PEBEC mandate via extensive collaborations.

The official inveterate that the National measure Plan 5.0 has been elongated to July 29, 2020.
