Due to the changes occurred by the pandemic corona virus, the Management of the Federal polytechnic Offa, Kwara State has declared that there will not be any physical screening activities to enroll applicants into the school for the 2020/2021 session.

The Management while explaining the reasons, said the fresh development was to curb the spread of deadly corona virus.

The obstruction statement made by the Registrar and Secretary to the governing council read in part: “This is to announce to all eligible Candidates who wrote the 2020/2021 UTME and chose The Federal Polytechnic Offa as their first choice and obtained a minimum cut – off mark of 150 in the UTME, that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be physical screening of applicants”.

In his reaction on the method of screening, the school stated that it will be via the organized stated below:

The Candidates must passed at least five (5) O’level subject requirements at credit level in not more than two (2) sittings.

All candidates in this category, should visit the Polytechnic portal www.fpo.edu.ng to upload their O’ level results, certificates/credentials and fill the security form on the Polytechnic portal.

The sum of ₦2,000 only shall be paid for this screening exercise. Payment will be made with an ATM card that is Interswitch compatible.

The Management, however issued warning that failure to follow this instruction shall lead to authomatic disqualification of Candidates and said further that fake claims shall also lead to forfeiture of the admission at any time it is detected.

The Management also ordered National Diploma (ND) Part Time applicants to refer to the school newspaper adverts for admission and screening exercise.

Stating that ALL uploaded documents should be done within Eight weeks from the date of the publication.
