On Monday, there was season film in the state of Osun House of Assembly, as Adekunle Oyekunle, a member of the house, representing Ejigbo rejected Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s nominee.

Ngrealnews gathered that Governor Oyetola had forwarded a letter to the House two weeks ago, nominating Adebayo Salmon, a former Senior Special Assistant on Legal Matters under Aregbesola administration, from Ejigbo Local Government of the state, for screening as a member of Judicial Service Commission.

The letter was addressed by the Speaker, Hon Timothy Owoeye at the state house on Monday.

The Speaker asked the House to assess the nominee, the lawmaker representing the same local council with the nominee, rejected him.

Hon Adekunle disclosed that he is worried about the capability of the nominee in discharging his responsibilities when approved.

It was also gathered that the nominee, Adebayo were not in good term with the lawmaker, Hon Adekunle who is representing his constituency.

A source said that it was the politics being played between the aggrieved of the immediate past Speaker of the house, Hon Najeem Salaam and the ex-Federal House of Representatives lawmaker, Prof Mojeed Alabi, who came from the Ejigbo.

The Speaker announced an hour recess session, which according to a source, he later called the affected sides.
