The Ogun State Government has disclosed that four of the six COVID-19 isolation centers have been lockdown.

The government unveiled that 118 COVID-19 patients are currently receiving treatment in their various houses.

The Ogun state government also said that 17 other patients are on admission in the isolation centers at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu and Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta.

Mr Kayode Soyinka, who is the Incident Manager of corona virus in the Ogun state revealed this to newsmen.

Mr Kayode Soyinka, reacting at a media briefing constituted by the Society for Family Health in collaboration with the State Primary Health Care Development Board, in Abeokuta.

Mr Kayode Soyinka unveiled that, as of Monday, 7,564 persons have been tested for the pandemic virus.

But 1,659 positive cases have been confirmed, with about 1,489 cases.

It was also gathered that 26 patients have died of Coronavirus due to the complicated in Ogun.

Mr Kayode Soyinka said further that home treatment was advised for 96 per cent of cases because they had little or no symptoms.
