Governor Willie Obiano has presented certificates of recognition to the traditional rulers of Ezi-Agulu-Otu Aguler and Mkpunando Aguleri.

He made the presentations at the Governor's Lodge, Amawbia.

While Igwe Lawrence Nwafia was recognized as the traditional ruler of Ezi-Agulu-Otu Aguleri, Igwe Johnson Mbanefo was recognized as the traditional of Mkpunando Aguleri.

The certificate presentation followed the dethronement of the former traditional rulers of the communities by their subordinates, which pursues from their suspension by the state government for misconduct.

Present at the occasion were the Chairman of South East Traditional Rulers' Council, Igwe Alfred Achebe, traditional rulers of Mbaukwu, Okpuno and Aguleri, Igwe, Peter Anugwu, Igwe Sunday Okafor and Igwe Michael Idigo respectively.

Others present are President General of ASATU, Chief Alex Onukwue, Anambra state chairman of Ohaneze ndi Igbo, Chief Damian Ogene, member representing Anambra East in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Obama Emenaka, among others.
