In a bid to ensure access to quality water, Rep Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin has commenced a motorised borehole projects across the 42 wards of Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara.

Some constituents who were in ecstasy mood with the arrival of equipment to begin work at the site agreed that the lawmaker had fulfilled one of his electioneering campaign.

Ganiyat Dauda, a resident of Omu-Aran said that during the last electioneering campaign in 2019, he promised he would give a borehole to the community if voted and now he is fulfilling that part.

According to her, the lawmaker has done many things that I can't mention in the cause of this interview, only recently, he trained 200 people from our constituency and gave each person a gadget to assist them after the training.

As at the time of filing this report, work had began in Àgàn òru market in omu-Aran 1 while the people of Sabo Area in Oro 2 are also benefitting from the latest motorised boreholes.

Investigations also revealed that work is at advanced stage in Oke-onigbin and Ijara isin in Isin local government area of the state. 

Reacting to the development, Rep Tunji Ajuloopin, said he would ensure that he fulfilled all his campaign promises and make the constituency better than he met it. 

The lawmaker, who double as the House Committee Chairman on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness, said water is life, hence the reason it must be readily available to his constituents. 

"When I came in board, I discovered our people are lacking in clean water, hence the reason we embarked on these projects. 

"We had done 11 before now and we are working on doing more according to the urgent need of such project. 

"I want to ask our people once gain to be patient with us, we are working on based on the advise we are receiving the people in the locations we are digging the boreholes" Ajuloopin said.
