The Police Command of Anambra State has lance an organized search for killers of Chukwuma Ojukwu, an aspirant to the Awka-Etiti traditional throne, in Idemili South LGA.

The police spokeperson, Haruna Mohammed, revealed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday.

The police spokesman guarantee that the command will arrest and brought the perpetrators to the book.

Haruna said, “The case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident and bring fleeing perpetrators to justice."

Chukwuma was the prince of the late King of Awka-Etiti, Igwe Akum Ojukwu.

He had lay emphasis on succeeding his late father, addind that the throne was hereditary.

On 8th September, 2020 notorious hire killer entered his house in a bus and allegedly hit him to death.

Chukwuma reportedly lived alone in the King's court even after the mother and siblings abandoned the place.

Meanwhile, Katsina State police command, on Thursday, announced the arrest of a dreaded member of bandits and kidnap, Abubakar Ibrahim, 19, at Rugu forest.

The police spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, who unveiled this in a statement in Katsina, said that the group, have been attacking residents in Batsari, Safana, Damnusa and Kurfi Local Government Areas in the state.
