There is serious gunfire in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital presently as some suspected gangsters attack the store house of the Agricultural Development Project, (ADP) in the state capital to carried away agricultural palliatives meant for farmers in the state.

Ngrealnews gathered that the store house is located along Felele Okene, Abuja road.

The gangsters were seen carrying agricultural materials which includes, fertilizers, seedlings, rice, machines and many others which are due to be share to farmers in the state.

Thus was also gathered that measures of Police officers from the B division and other security personnel to curb the criminals proved abortive.

Meanwhile, three people reportedly gave up on Sunday afternoon as many bombard the Kogi State store house in Lokoja to move away the remaining COVID-19 palliatives.

Ngrealnews gathered that those who gave up while rushing out from the store house.

The gangsters entered the warehouse without the consent of the state Governors directives that the remaining COVID-19 palliative be shared among the residents of the state.

According to the reliable source said that the residents were only reacting to the governor’s directives.

It was added that security operatives were mobilized to the area counsel the people living in the environment to go in and have their palliatives without a problem.

Residents of the state were advised to maintain peace and shun anything that could lead to a stampede.

According to a Woman who spoke with our correspondent affirmed that they were there according to the Governor’s ordered that the remaining palliatives be shared to the residents.

The woman said, “I am here to see if I will be lucky to get some food items for my family since things have not been easy for us since COVID-19 pandemic."

However, William Aya, who is the Police Public Relation Officer, who spoke to our correspondent disclaimed the saying and said tha nobody lost his life while palliatives were shared in Lokoja the state capital.
