The former aviation minister to the former President Goodluck Jonathan, Femi Fani Kayode popularly known as FFK has responded to the saction of some stations over the massacre of the posters at Lekki tollgate in Lagos.
The former aviation minister condemned the decision as clueless and baseless decision from the source.
He wrote on official Twitter account show his grievance toward the decision.
His statement on his tweeter read, "Someone please tell NBC that Nigeria is not a police state & you cannot gag the press. Sanctioning & fining @AIT_Online, @channelstv & @ARISEtv for airing footage on the #LekkiMassacre #LekkitollgateMassacre only proves the fact that @MBuhari is nothing but a dictator & fascist.
It also proves that they have something to hide."
Meanwhile, The main opposition People Democratic Party, PDP, has nailed the clampdown on major broadcast stations including AIT, channels Television and the ARISE Television by the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, led Federal Government, over their report of the #EndSARS protest in various parts of the country.
