One of the Buhari minister, Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has thrown his supports on protest against operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, integral parts of the Nigeria Police.

Mr Festus disclosed that Nigerians agitators must be permitted to go on a peaceful protest over the challenges they feel aggrieved over.

The minister emphasized that peaceful protest was a democratic culture on his official tweeter account.

The minister tweeted that, “Peaceful protests by citizens to ventilate their frustrations is part of a democratic culture. They MUST be allowed to do this without inhibitions.

“That culture also requires that citizens be willing to sit down after the protests to have some reasonable conversation on the issues."

Meanwhile, the citizens of the country have been protesting against the unofficial and unlawful services of SARS personnel across the country.

Some police officer had attacked prostesters in Abuja with tear gas on friday which Olu Onemola, the former aide to Bukola Saraki was also arrested over his involvement in the protest in Abuja.
