Hope Uzodinma, The Governor of Imo State, has stated that his government is obligated to guarantee that all residents of Imo state have direct access to justice, appealing the judiciary to take prompt actions in issuing fast judgement on convicts.

The State Governor said this in Owerri, the state chapter at the launch of Justice Transformation Strategy organized by Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HIIL), Netherlands.

Hope Uzodinma perseverate on the need for quick dispensation of justice in the country, emphasized that means to justice for everyone irrespective of social and political classes, should never be derogative.

He added that he would set up a 7-man committee to ensured that the average residents in the state, most importantly the rural residents accessible to justice.

He said in his statement, “all human beings should indeed have access to justice.

“My administration is bent on offering a level playing ground for all and sundry and impacting in the lives of our people.”
