The saying: "sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me" is not applicable in all cases to everybody. This is so because the "Tongue" irrespective of it's size can bring calamities or produce blessings, depending on the user's ability to control it.

Never trust your tongue when angry, always be careful with your words, for once they are said, they can only be forgiven but not forgotten.

Mothers most especially, please don't curse your children or say anything evil to them rather speak blessings to them because the tongue has power to curse and to bless.

So bridle your tongue with due respect. Dearly beloved, in all you do today, i entreat you to think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure for you. Speak wisely and always bridle your tongue, for better than a thousand hollow words is one word of peace. And remember:

five words cost Zacharias (Elizabeth's husband) forty weeks of silence."
