The Adamawa State Police Command has ascertain the regaining the Cameroonian national flag and military uniforms.

The Cameroon national flag and military uniforms were discovered at Lamunde Hill in Gumti National Park in Toungo Local Government Area of the state.

According to the Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Adamu, statement on Monday, the culprit disturbing the communities peace along the Nigeria-Cameroon boundary and Southern part of Adamawa were climed down.

The successful operation was put in place by Toungo Police Division with the Special Hunters of Pulaaku Association at Lamunde Hill situated at Gumti National Park.

Nothing less down nine military Camouflage uniforms of Cameroon terrorist, Cameroon national flag, one motorcycle, and other properties were regained.

Adamu said the Toungo Police Division and the Special Hunters of Pulaaku Association pursued the suspected terrorist into their secret place with exchange of gun fire.

“We are advancing to make sure that the suspects are apprehended,” the commissioner assured.

The Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Adamu, said further that the operation followed credible information from citizens after series cases of abduction, armed robbery and banditry.
