The Imo State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has named Faulks Road, Aba, after late Dr. Sam Mbakwe, the Governor of Old Imo State.

The road was renamed after Mbakwe sequence a call made by a student of DANIJOY International Schools, Umuahia, during Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s lecture on “Building a New Nigeria through Democratic Leadership”

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, who explained public opinion as very important in finding solution to the problems confronting Nigeria, emphasized that the society must learn to appreciate and promote leaders who served the public creditably.

Governor said further that our society must also advocate the virtues of honesty, integrity and service, noting that the journey for a new Nigeria is a collective efforts as everyone is guilty of contributing to the many challenges facing the nation.

Imo State Governor also explained that early child education as key to the development of the child and asked for the inducement of the same into the educational system of the country.

The Head of DANIJOY International Schools, Ambassador Anthony Ororho, said in his statement that the School is an institution where parents of Igbo extraction living in the Diaspora in particular can bring up their wards in the enviable Igbo tradition with sound moral upbringing.

Ambassador Anthony applause Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for discharging  his duties fir better qualitative education to the state.
